Hornady Lock-n-Load Bullet Comparator Inserts are intended to be used with the Hornady Lock-n-Load Bullet Comparator. These inserts come in a variety of sizes to accommodate all of the most popular cartridge calibers and are incredibly easy to use.
To use your Hornady Lock-n-Load Bullet Comparator to measure bullet seating depth simply attach the bullet comparator tool to your caliper blade using a thumbscrew then utilize the proper Hornady Lock-n-Load Bullet Comparator Insert to measure the bullet length from its ogive. This is the best way to eliminate bullet seating depth variation.
