Warne MAXIMA Series rings are designed to mount on Weaver and Picatinny dimension bases and combine the best looks strength and value in the industry. MAXIMA rings are available in both quick detach and permanent attach models. Made from the same process that Porsche and BMW use for their connecting rods these mounts are incredibly strong. Their finish uses a powder coating process that is used by Zeiss and Nikon on their finest scopes.The color and durability is unmatched by any other process. A rectangular stainless steel recoil key is unique to the industry and has proven reliable under the fiercest recoil plus unmatched repeatability when reattached. Remove Reattach Return To Zero : Warne pioneered precision quick detach return-to-zero mounts. Warnes unique design and attention to quality guarantee that optics can be removed and reattached without loosing zero. Adjustable Double Lever System : Warnes unique lever is actually a small box end wrench which is used to tighten or loosen the clamp on the mounting base. It is designed so that the rings can be attached to the scope without removing the clamp assembly simplifying the process of attaching the scope to the rifle. Once attached to the rifle the levers can be easily adjusted to sit in any desired orientation. Stainless Steel Recoil Lug : Warnes Maxima Series features a stainless steel lug that is rectangular and fits perfectly into Weaver-style and Picatinny base configurations. Warnes Grooved Receiver models have lugs that either brace against the back side of the front integral mount or fit into machined slots/holes in the receiver.
