218 BEE
The 218 Bee was introduced by Winchester in 1938. Based on the 32-20 case necked down, with a 46-grain bullet at 2760 feet per second it is a bit faster than the 22 Hornet, but is not as popular. The 218 Bee was originally introduced in the Winchester Model 65, a modernization of the lever-action Model 1892. In recent years it has been chambered to some bolt actions and single shots, and Winchester continues to offer a factory load. — Craig Boddington
