32 North American Arms
The 32 NAA (North American Arms) is a bottlenecked, rimless cartridge designed by Ed Sanow and J.B. Wood in 2003 for use in compact semiautomatic pistols. With a 60-grain bullet at 1200 feet per second it is much more powerful than the 32 ACP, and with modern expanding bullets essentially on par with the 380 ACP. It uses a .312-inch bullet. Despite merit the 32 NAA has not become popular, but factory ammunition is available from Cor-Bon. — Craig Boddington
